1) Ted Nugent's brother
http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/NewsTerm/~3/tCQcci0Dn78/ted-nugents-brother.html

Ted Nugent's brother, Jeffrey Nugent, brother of outspoken, ultra-conservative rocker Ted Nugent, is speaking out against recent comments his brother has made about gun rights.

Ted, who spoke earlier this month at a Houston NRA conference, vehemently decries any attempts to limit gun freedoms, such as greater background checks. Jeffrey began to get some heat because of his brother?s extremism, and so wrote an op-ed piece in the Washington Post about his support of greater background checks.

"I agree with Ted that our constitutional right to bear arms should not be undermined," wrote Jeffrey Nugent. "I want all those who are qualified to purchase a gun to be able to do so. But ? and here is where I part ways with my brother ? not everyone is qualified to own a gun, so expanded background checks should be a legislative priority."

Jeffrey, the former chief executive and president of [...]

2) Sinbad bankrupt
http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/NewsTerm/~3/dmHvnzRanv0/sinbad-bankrupt.html

Sinbad bankrupt, Sinbad is bankrupt again... or still. The comedian filed for bankruptcy for the second time according to TMZ. On May 20 it was reported that Sinbad filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy in April claiming that he has $10,991,715 in debt but only $131,000 in assets. A lot of his debt stems from credit cards but he also says that he owes the IRS over $8 million.

Sinbad says "he owes $374,979 to American Express, $32,199 to Bank of America, and $2.3 million to the CA Franchise Tax Board" (via TMZ). Sinbad says that he "only" makes $16,000 a month which is far too little to pay off his debt.

So Sinbad is bankrupt and he will likely be allowed to go about his life and keep all of his things. As TMZ points out, Sinbad has some pretty sweet toys in his possession that he probably won't be selling any time soon.

According to the report, Sinbad has a "2007 BMW 750i, a 2006 VW [...]

Eleanor Mustang sold, A 1967 Ford Mustang used during filming of 2000?s hit movie Gone in 60 Seconds has sold at auction for a staggering $1 million. This was no ordinary Mustang, however, as the car in question was none other than the famous ?Eleanor? Mustang driven by actor Nicholas Cage in the movie?s closing stages.

Eleven of the fictional Eleanor Mustangs were created for the movie, although only three of these were working cars, and two of these were destroyed during filming. This one was Cage?s primary ?beauty? car, used mostly for close ups as well as promotional efforts.

The car was sold during the Dana Mecum 26th Original Spring Classic Auction in Indianapolis last week.

No details about the auction?s winner have been announced, though the price paid is not at all unexpected given the car?s fame as well as its pedigree.

Though not an original Shelby, the Eleanor Mustangs [...]

http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/NewsTerm/~3/9MtKm0s3ZjQ/5-dead-in-bank-robbery.html

5 Dead in bank robbery, A gunman stormed into a bank in the southern Israeli city of Beersheba Monday, killing four people in a gunfight and taking a hostage before killing himself, police said.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the shootings happened inside the bank, which was cordoned off with a large number of police. Israeli TV footage showed several ambulances parked outside. Four other people were wounded, one of them seriously.

Police said they were investigating the incident and backed off from initial claims that it had been a bungled bank robbery.

The man was identified as an Israeli in his 40s [...]

6) SNL cast crisis
http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/NewsTerm/~3/RUJidaioWbM/snl-cast-crisis.html

SNL cast crisis, There?s a bit of a cast crisis over at SNL. The show is saying goodbye to several of its veteran members and will almost have to start from scratch next year.

Kristin Wiig left the show last year and Bill Hader made his exit last Saturday. The show will also soon see the departure of Seth Meyers, who will be taking over Jimmy Fallon?s seat at Late Night, Jason Sudeikis and Fred Armisen.

Sudeikis and Armisen haven?t officially left the show but there are several reports circulating that the two veterans will not return next year.

That?s a lot of gaps to fill for when the show resumes next year.

But the SNL cast crisis may not be as dire as it seems. Variety notes that SNL has dealt with major cast turnovers before and they always seem to come out of it unscathed. The massive turnover could actually turn out to be a good thing.

Variety writes: ?The prospect of losing [...]

http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/NewsTerm/~3/B4Py2IXW63M/swifts-disgusted-reaction.html
